Job Description


The Legal Insurance Intern will work closely with the legal and insurance team to support various aspects of legal compliance, insurance administration, and risk management within the organization. This role will have the opportunity to develop sound business practice skills, gain insight on the legality issues, experience professional growth, and make significant contributions to our company.

Legal & Insurance Intern Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on construction-related legal matters such as contracts, permits, and compliance matters.
  • Assist in the review and drafting of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, memoranda, and correspondence.
  • Assist with contract reviews.
  • Assist with departmental workflow and document tracking processes
  • Review, analyze, document & file legal and insurance project-specific documents for compliance purposes
  • Assist in identifying potential legal risks and liabilities facing the organization
  • Any other duties assigned by Contract Manager and General Counsel

Legal & Insurance Intern Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a business degree program
  • High level of detail orientation with excellent follow-up skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency of Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Professional attitude and demeanor required
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
