More than 20 million homes and business in the U.S. depend on timely fuel deliveries, but less than 10% are currently outfitted with a smart monitor.
That's where we come in. Generac's Tank Utility product helps fuel providers intelligently schedule deliveries (instead of guessing) and gives homeowners increased peace of mind. Our customers benefit by reducing unnecessary deliveries and eliminating billions of dollars in wasted efforts.
In the Business Development Representative role, the major responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Prospecting from various mediums - CRM, Industry databases, and online
- Converting leads to new opportunities through phone and email communication
- Scheduling Software Demos for the Business Development Managers
- Building relationships with leads
- Working and navigating our CRM (Salesforce)
- Communicating product feedback from the customer to our product team.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Previous sales experience through internship or 6+ months of sales experience preferred
- Experience in SaaS industry is preferred
- Experience on the phone preferred
- Excellent presentation skills;
- Excellent negotiation skills;
- Organizational skills;
- Ability to work independently in an entrepreneurial culture;
- Ability to analyze financials;
- Knowledge of the internal processes and systems that support sales accounts
